We are seeking an API Automation Tester to join our Technology function within VOIS Software Engineering. Based in Pune and reporting to Pradnyesh Patankar, this role focuses on ensuring high‑quality delivery through robust API automation testing. The individual will work closely with developers, business analysts, and product teams, contributing across the Software Testing Life Cycle while strengthening automation frameworks and quality practices in a fast‑paced agile environment.
Job Responsibility:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable API automation test suites using REST Assured
Perform manual and exploratory API testing using Postman
Develop and enhance automation frameworks, applying industry best practices
Validate API contracts, headers, payloads, authentication, and error handling
Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing
Analyse test failures, log defects, and contribute to root cause analysis
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support timely, high‑quality releases
Requirements:
Experienced in API testing using Postman and API automation using REST Assured
Proficient in Java programming with a solid understanding of automation frameworks such as Cucumber
Knowledgeable in HTTP methods, RESTful services, JSON structures, and authentication mechanisms
Comfortable working in agile and DevOps‑oriented environments
Analytical, detail‑focused, and collaborative, with a strong quality‑driven mindset
