Job Description

We are seeking an Apache NiFi & Java Engineer to design, build and maintain business-critical data integration applications within a Digital & IT software development environment. This role is suited for an individual with hands-on Apache NiFi experience who enjoys working closely with solution architects and infrastructure teams to deliver stable, high-quality applications that support enterprise-scale systems.

Job Responsibility

  • Design, build and maintain Apache NiFi applications for enterprise integration use cases
  • Collaborate with solution architects and infrastructure teams to understand requirements and provide application support
  • Develop and enhance NiFi data flows ensuring performance, reliability and scalability
  • Write unit tests and maintain technical documentation to ensure code quality and long-term maintainability
  • Troubleshoot, debug and resolve issues in production environments
  • Apply basic RDBMS concepts, including writing select queries and understanding schemas, tables and constraints
  • Follow agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support CI/CD and automation activities using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in application development projects
  • Strong proficiency in Apache NiFi programming
  • Working knowledge of Core Java (Java 1.8 and above)
  • Comfortable working with tools such as JIRA, GitHub and Linux scripting, including cron job scheduling
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging and analytical skills
  • Clear communication and effective collaboration in cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies such as SCRUM or SAFe
