We are seeking an Apache NiFi & Java Engineer to design, build and maintain business-critical data integration applications within a Digital & IT software development environment. This role is suited for an individual with hands-on Apache NiFi experience who enjoys working closely with solution architects and infrastructure teams to deliver stable, high-quality applications that support enterprise-scale systems.
Job Responsibility:
Design, build and maintain Apache NiFi applications for enterprise integration use cases
Collaborate with solution architects and infrastructure teams to understand requirements and provide application support
Develop and enhance NiFi data flows ensuring performance, reliability and scalability
Write unit tests and maintain technical documentation to ensure code quality and long-term maintainability
Troubleshoot, debug and resolve issues in production environments
Apply basic RDBMS concepts, including writing select queries and understanding schemas, tables and constraints
Follow agile development practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Support CI/CD and automation activities using tools such as Jenkins and GitHub
Requirements:
2–3 years of experience in application development projects
Strong proficiency in Apache NiFi programming
Working knowledge of Core Java (Java 1.8 and above)
Comfortable working with tools such as JIRA, GitHub and Linux scripting, including cron job scheduling
Strong problem-solving, debugging and analytical skills
Clear communication and effective collaboration in cross-functional teams
Familiarity with agile methodologies such as SCRUM or SAFe
