Job Description:

As the APAC Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the region’s data-driven decision-making capability. You’ll be at the forefront of establishing a unified APAC Data Mart — a critical foundation for commercial analytics across customer, product, channel, and program dimensions. This position bridges business analytics and data engineering, combining commercial insight with hands-on data design and visualization. You’ll work closely with regional and global teams to ensure APAC markets (ANZ, China, Japan, India, SEA, Korea) have reliable, actionable, and timely insights to guide strategy and growth. You’ll collaborate extensively with Commercial, Marketing, Product Management, IT, and Finance, ensuring that the APAC data infrastructure supports business objectives and aligns with enterprise data standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the creation of an APAC Data Mart integrating various data sources into a single, accessible regional repository
  • Define, build, and maintain data structures supporting regional reporting and analytics, ensuring scalability and alignment with global data frameworks
  • Perform timely and relevant commercial analysis to support regional GTM plans and strategic objectives
  • Interpret and analyze different datasets (customer, product, channel, tier, program, territory, pricing etc.) transforming into business insights and action
  • Design, develop, manage, and standardize analytics dashboards for regional and market-level stakeholders
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) and enforce data governance for all APAC data sources and platforms, ensuring best practices are followed and data accuracy maintained
  • Maintain documentation of the APAC data and reporting landscape
  • Partner with cross function teams and global data teams to ensure alignment on architecture, data flows, and integration standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to communicate insights, shifts in business performance, and ensure analytics remain synchronized with evolving business priorities
  • Support ad hoc analytics and commercial initiatives, including pricing, channel performance, promotions, and customer segmentation
  • Develop and maintain tools, templates, and methodologies to support commercial analytics such as pricing metrics and opportunities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or commercial analytics
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and deploy data models or data marts, preferably in a regional or enterprise-scale environment
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and database design principles
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Hands-on experience with data integration, transformation, or ETL processes (e.g., Alteryx, DBT, Power Query, or equivalent)
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Asana, GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, MYOB, and Salesforce data environments
  • Experience working across diverse APAC markets and collaborating with cross-cultural teams
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable business insights
