This position plans and coordinates statewide Trained Therapist Network Workshops, the Annual Permanency Conference, APAC live interactive webinars, participates in Camp APAC and other statewide services, and supports the Regional Team Leaders in providing regional APAC services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or mental health/social services related field
  • Event planning and coordination, training, database management
  • Valid Alabama driver’s license and auto insurance minimum liability 100/300
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • technology, negotiation and budgeting experience, event planning and management skills, and creative abilities with orientation to detail and skills in problem-solving
  • Computer proficiency to conduct in-person and online training events and to manage the agency’s Learning Management System
  • Ability to respond calmly and non-judgmentally to others, including persons in crisis
  • Ability to work with a team under the direction of the Program Director, while demonstrating the ability to think critically and plan and execute independent work
  • Ability to demonstrate cultural and socioeconomic proficiency
  • Understanding of trauma responsive care
