Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented AP Staff Accountant to join our team. This Contract-to-Permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to essential accounting functions within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will excel in managing financial processes, ensuring accuracy, and supporting operational goals.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the complete Accounts Payable cycle, including processing invoices, coding transactions, and executing payment runs
Reconcile vendor statements and promptly resolve any discrepancies to maintain strong relationships
Provide support for Accounts Receivable tasks such as posting payments and assisting with collections
Contribute to month-end close activities by preparing reconciliations and generating financial reports
Ensure the accuracy of financial records while adhering to established company policies and procedures
Collaborate with management to implement accounting projects and enhance process efficiency
Deliver general accounting support to maintain smooth day-to-day business operations

Requirements:

Proficiency in managing sales tax calculations and compliance
Demonstrated ability to create and post journal entries accurately
In-depth understanding of general ledger accounting
Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable processes and account coding
Familiarity with full-cycle payroll processing
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and collaboration abilities
