We are seeking a confident, motivated, and adaptable Multi‑Skills Maths & English Tutor to join our dedicated team. You'll play a vital role in helping learners build essential skills, develop independence, and reach their goals.

Job Responsibility

  • Support students across all vocational areas to access the curriculum
  • Promote inclusion, resilience, self-esteem, and independence
  • Provide tailored support to meet a wide range of learner needs
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the department
  • Deliver English and Maths sessions to learners with varying abilities
  • Monitor progress, update ProMonitor, and contribute to EHCP outcomes

Requirements

  • GCSE Grade C/Level 4 (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience supporting young people with SEN (desirable but not essential)
  • Confident teaching across both English and Maths
  • Build strong, supportive relationships with young people
  • Monitor, support and record learner progress effectively
  • Provide engaging, innovative training
  • Work collaboratively as part of a committed, learner-focused team
