Job Description:

We’re partnering with a growing multisite healthcare provider to find an experienced AP Manager who’s ready to take ownership of a critical finance function — and make it even better. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys both the hands-on side of accounts payable and the bigger-picture work of building stronger processes, systems, and relationships as the company continues to grow.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee the full AP lifecycle — ensuring invoices are processed accurately and on time across multiple locations
  • Maintain accurate vendor master data and ensure proper documentation and approvals are in place
  • Manage vendor relationships and respond to payment inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Partner with operational leaders and center teams to keep invoice approvals moving efficiently
  • Support a clean, timely month-end close — ensuring accruals are accurate and the AP subledger ties to the general ledger
  • Review and approve weekly vendor payment runs and monitor AP aging
  • Ensure AP processes follow established internal controls and approval procedures
  • Identify automation opportunities, support system implementations, and track AP metrics to continuously improve performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of accounts payable experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role
  • Strong financial systems knowledge and advanced Excel skills
  • Proven track record of improving workflows, driving automation, or supporting system rollouts
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Healthcare, multi-location, or PE-backed company experience is a plus
