Job Responsibility

  • Manage and lead the accounts payable team, including training, workflow management, and performance evaluations
  • Oversee the timely and accurate processing of invoices, check runs, wire transfers, and expense reimbursements
  • Develop, implement, and monitor AP policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Maintain relationships with vendors, resolve account issues, and negotiate payment terms as necessary
  • Prepare month-end and year-end close processes related to accounts payable
  • Support audits and provide required documentation
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement and accounting, to optimize processes and support business objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role
  • Supervisory experience is strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of AP processes, systems, and relevant regulations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in AP/accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities
