We are looking for a detail-oriented AP/HR Clerk to join our team in Irvine, California. This is a contract position ideal for individuals with a strong background in accounts payable and invoice processing. The role requires precision, efficiency, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Job Responsibility:
Verify, code, and process invoices in compliance with company policies
Manage check runs and ensure timely payments to vendors
Conduct thorough reviews of invoice details to ensure accuracy and completeness
Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable transactions
Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and address payment inquiries
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure proper invoice approval workflows
Assist in preparing reports related to accounts payable activities
Support HR-related administrative tasks as needed
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company procedures
Provide general clerical support to the accounts payable and HR departments
Requirements:
Proven experience in accounts payable or a related role
Proficiency in coding invoices and processing payments
Familiarity with check runs and invoice workflows
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills for vendor and team interactions
Competency in using accounting software and tools
