Job Description:

Lead a dynamic team and drive financial strategy for a leading technology company in Japan. You will be responsible for leading the finance team, overseeing daily operations, and developing strategies to optimize financial performance. You will play a key role in shaping the company's financial future, collaborating with stakeholders across departments and driving initiatives that enhance efficiency and profitability. You will mentor and develop your team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead a dynamic team and drive financial strategy for a leading technology company in Japan
  • Setting process priorities aligned with organizational goals
  • Driving strategic improvements in process efficiency and effectiveness
  • Spearheading the development and implementation of automation tools
  • Identifying and resolving process improvement opportunities
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders to optimize the order-to-cash cycle
  • Developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Evaluating and communicating accounts receivable risks
  • Ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act regulations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (MBA, CPA, or ACCA preferred)
  • Fluency in English and Japanese (written and spoken)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivots, lookups)
  • 10+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or operations
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools
  • Experience designing and redesigning processes
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
