Job Description

This internship offers a unique opportunity to apply your academic knowledge in a global business environment, connecting what you learn in your studies with real-world financial operations. You will work closely with Coty HQ, Shared Services Centers, and local business teams, gaining hands-on exposure to financial processes, compliance, and cross-functional collaboration. Reporting to the AP Manager and AR Manager, you will develop an understanding of how financial flows support the wider commercial organization and contribute to operational excellence. This role is ideal for students looking to deepen their understanding of business finance, process governance, and the ways finance partners with the business to drive value.

Job Responsibility

  • Observe how AP and AR operations work within a global organization and understand the interaction between HQ and Shared Services
  • Learn how finance partners with commercial, procurement, and supply chain teams to support business outcomes
  • Support light coordination activities within O2C and P2P processes, helping standardization and process understanding
  • Gain exposure to working capital concepts by reviewing key reports such as AP Ageing, Aged Debt, and DSO
  • Develop an understanding of SOX controls, compliance frameworks, and audit preparation
  • Learn how variances (e.g., GRIR/PO mismatches) are analyzed and resolved in a corporate environment
  • Contribute to discussions and follow-up actions related to AP/AR performance and escalations
  • Participate in team meetings and cross-functional interactions, building communication and business partnering skills

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • A strong desire to learn how finance operates within a multinational organization
  • Analytical mindset with interest in understanding processes, data flows, and financial controls
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to interact with diverse teams
  • Comfortable working with Excel and eager to develop stronger data-handling skills
  • Fluency in English

Nice to have

  • Interest in process improvement, shared services, or operational finance
