Job Description

A leading, nationally recognized food & beverage company is seeking an experienced AP & AR Manager to own and elevate the full-cycle payables and receivables functions at their Torrance headquarters. This is a high-impact, fully onsite leadership role within a complex, high-volume CPG environment. You’ll oversee daily transactional operations, strengthen internal controls, and partner cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure accurate, timely cash flow and vendor management.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations
  • Manage and mentor a team in a high-volume, fast-paced CPG environment
  • Oversee cash application, deductions, chargebacks, collections, and vendor payments
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
  • Partner with Sales on trade spend, deductions, and customer account reconciliations
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and ERP optimization
  • Support month-end close, reporting, and working capital management

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of progressive AP/AR experience, including team leadership
  • Background in CPG, food & beverage, manufacturing, or high-volume distribution strongly preferred
  • Experience managing customer deductions, retailer chargebacks, and trade spend
  • Strong ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable in a hands-on leadership role
  • Must be willing to work fully onsite in Torrance, CA
