Requirements
Be passionate about facilitating activities for children aged 4 and older, and helping to teach people about the wonders of the Cayman Islands
Have experience working with children ages 4 to 18
Act as a supporting team member on snorkeling and kayaking activities with older children and adults
Must be a capable swimmer and snorkeler, preferably with CPR/first aid and lifeguard skills
Provide information to guests about available recreation facilities, activities, lessons, and equipment
Encourage and recruit guests to participate in recreation activities
Register and schedule guests for activities by recording information using the appropriate method
Speak to guests and coworkers using clear, appropriate and professional language
Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
Be Able to energize the Ritz-Carlton culture and mission of Ambassadors of the Environment
Personally contribute to the youth program’s team goal of providing fun, educational and caring services to the children of members and guests, in a warm and welcoming environment
Build rapport with and take a genuine interest in all children and parents utilizing the club’s child activity services
Participate in everyday activities such as organizing arts and crafts time, leading games, reading stories and singing songs
Promote the club’s youth programs and activities and assist parents in program registration
Help keep facilities and equipment clean, neat and well maintained
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager
