Requirements

Excellent organisational and case management skills with the ability to follow processes, procedures and meet challenging targets whilst working in a fast paced and high-pressured environment
Experience of managing anti-social behaviour and knowledge of the Anti-Social Behaviour legislation such as the Crime and Policing Act 2014, Crime and Disorder Act 1998 and other associated legislation
A knowledge of the range of support services available for residents
Confident in communicating with internal / external stakeholders

Job Responsibility

To protect demand for our properties from the negative effects of nuisance, anti-social behaviour and other tenancy breaches, using a range of early intervention tools to combat nuisance across the area
Triage all ASB, Domestic Abuse & Hate Crime cases in line with company service standards’ response times, risk assessing cases and ensuring that appropriate support and target hardening measures are utilised, including preparing rehousing requests for victims of domestic abuse and hate crime in a timely manner where appropriate
To manage ASB, Domestic Abuse, Hate Crime & other tenancy breach cases using early intervention measures such as tenancy warnings, mediation referrals, whilst completing any necessary evidence gathering processes and working in partnership with key partners where appropriate
Support Domestic Abuse triage & case management

Requirements

excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Responsibility

Travelling on our trains and patrolling our stations, you’ll help to deal with anti-social behaviour, crime and fare evasion
Sometimes it means physically stepping in to deescalate a situation
Other times it means seizing evidence and taking reports for minor crimes
Work with your partner, station teams, train staff, the British Transport Police and other services to resolve incidents

Requirements

Educated to degree level or an equivalent level of knowledge gained in the workplace
experience of dealing and working with the general public
experience and understanding of working in a multi-agency community safety environment
knowledge and experience of utilising ASB tools and powers available to the Local Authority and taking enforcement action in relation to ASB and resolving conflict situations
experience of preparing witness statements, legal documents, case reports and attending court
experience of working within a pressurised environment requiring a high standard of service delivery within tight timescales
experience of using IT systems to include Outlook, Windows, CRM, to intermediate level
competent working knowledge of relevant ASB legislation including experience in applying and maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of legislation
efficient time manager and effective communicator

Job Responsibility

Support the development and implementation of intervention activities designed to prevent crime, ASB and the fear of crime, working with other internal teams, external partners and our communities
Assist in delivering excellent ASB services to our customers by providing services to the highest possible standards and ensuring that operational performance remains high and improves
Responsible for managing an ASB case load, including completing risk assessments to ensure effective risk management plans are in place for victims identified at a higher risk of harm
Lead multi agency meetings when managing complex ASB cases
Assist in the operational delivery of the Western Suffolk Community Safety Partnership ASB priorities, focusing on early intervention and prevention
Promote good relationships between the Council, partner agencies, local residents, businesses, communities and schools
