Job Description

The UFC’s Anti-Doping Compliance Department supports the integrity of the sport by helping execute one of the most comprehensive anti-doping programs in professional athletics. Working closely with the program’s independent administrator, Combat Sports Anti-Doping (CSAD), the team serves as a key liaison between UFC athletes and the anti-doping process. Their focus is on education, compliance, and smooth program execution, ensuring athletes clearly understand requirements and expectations. This department plays a critical role within the broader UFC organization by protecting fair competition, athlete health, and the credibility of the sport worldwide.

Job Responsibility

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Anti-Doping Compliance Department, including scanning, copying, filing, and distributing documents
  • Assist with organizing and maintaining athlete records, forms, and correspondence in accordance with confidentiality and data protection guidelines
  • Support basic data entry and updates related to athlete information, including whereabouts data and internal tracking logs, under staff supervision
  • Help update and maintain spreadsheets and internal trackers used for compliance monitoring, education, and documentation follow-up
  • Assist with new athlete onboarding by organizing materials and confirming receipt of required forms
  • Support the coordination of athlete education sessions and internal meetings, including scheduling assistance and preparation of materials
  • Track incoming paperwork from athletes and management and flag missing or incomplete documentation for follow-up by Compliance Coordinators
  • Provide general administrative support for event preparation and post-event tasks related to the anti-doping program
  • Assist Compliance Coordinators with basic research and reference tasks related to medications, supplements, or program materials, as appropriate
  • Coordinate with other departments, as directed, to help ensure accurate and timely flow of athlete information
  • Perform other projects, tasks, and duties as assigned to support the day-to-day operations of the UFC Anti-Doping Compliance Department

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in a related field such as Sports Management, Health Sciences, Kinesiology, Legal Studies, Business Administration, or a similar discipline, or within six months of graduation
  • Junior or Senior standing preferred
  • Strong interest in professional sports, athlete health and safety, regulatory compliance, or anti-doping programs
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Ability to follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn basic anti-doping concepts, policies, and medical terminology
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate and interact professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Dependable, punctual, and responsive to evolving departmental needs

Prior administrative, office, or internship experience is a plus but not required
