Job Description:

Engineer or technician with antenna and outside plant experience in varied types of antenna systems with emphasis on antenna maintenance, installation, testing and documentation of results. This Opportunity is on the Island of Diego Garcia (British Indian Ocean).

Job Responsibility:

  • Accompany Contractor personnel when working in certain areas (such as limited access or secured areas) within the R-Site and T-Site
  • Safety - Amentum enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment. As appropriate, each employee is responsible for completing all training requirements and fulfilling all self-aid/buddy aid responsibilities, participating in emergency response tasks, and serving on safety committees and teams

Requirements:

  • Successfully complete before or within six months of assignment (at Contractor’s expense) "Basic Corrosion," a five day course of instruction sponsored by the NACE International Institute or equivalent training or technical expertise in corrosion control methods and procedures
  • Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance
  • US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance
