Currently, for our client, we are looking for an experienced Ansible Automation Engineer to join our team and support production environments through robust infrastructure automation. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain Ansible-based solutions, work closely with cross-functional teams, and contribute to reliable, scalable, and secure system operations in a dynamic, client-facing environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform Ansible system administration and provide production support
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize Ansible playbooks, roles, and modules for infrastructure automation and configuration management
  • Write, review, and maintain Unix shell scripts (Bash)
  • Automate repetitive operational tasks to improve system efficiency, reliability, and consistency
  • Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, and Nexus
  • Integrate Ansible automation with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and secrets management solutions (HashiCorp Vault and/or Ansible Vault)
  • Collaborate closely with infrastructure, development, and security teams to ensure smooth deployments and consistent environments
  • Troubleshoot automation, deployment, and configuration issues across multiple environments
  • Maintain version control using Git and ensure adherence to automation and coding best practices
  • Monitor system performance, address configuration drift, and implement proactive improvements
  • Ensure high availability of Ansible infrastructure and compliance with security standards
  • Lead technical deliveries and ensure tasks are completed within committed timelines

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in Ansible system administration
  • Strong expertise in Ansible (AWX or Ansible Automation Platform)
  • Proven ability to write and manage Ansible playbooks, roles, and Ansible Galaxy collections
  • Solid understanding of YAML syntax
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Experience in writing Bash (Unix shell) scripts and good understanding of server operating systems
  • Working knowledge of both Linux and Windows environments
  • Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub, and Nexus
  • Practical experience with Kubernetes (mandatory)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical issues
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and collaborative team environments
