Job Description:

Join HSBC as an Ansible Engineer/Senior Consultant Specialist to implement and maintain automation solutions using Ansible. Responsibilities include managing build automation, supporting configuration management, troubleshooting issues, supporting code promotions, and providing L3 support. Job Responsibility:

Responsible for implementing and maintaining automation solutions using Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform
Manage and support Build Automation in a large Ansible managed Linux estate
Manage and support Configuration management and enforcement in a large Ansible managed Linux estate
Troubleshoot issues with Kong API and AAP orchestration of VMWare and VM builds
Support Code promotions and perform Code reviews
Provide L3 support, troubleshoot and resolve incidents
Consultation on customer code development
Support new OS versions development, deployment and configuration

Requirements:

Highly experienced in Automation technologies – Ansible, Ansible Automation Platform
Experience in Configuration Management highly desirable (eg Puppet)
Experience in Linux/Unix administration and Service Management highly desirable
Experience in development/support Python, Git, CI/CD pipelines
Experience of working with agile practices and toolsets including JIRA and Confluence
Strong knowledge of SDLC and DEPL controls
Knowledge of Kong and use of AAP in API development and maintenance

Nice to have:

Experience in Configuration Management highly desirable (eg Puppet)
Experience in Linux/Unix administration and Service Management highly desirable
