Job Description

Amazon's Annapurna Labs designs the custom silicon (Trainium, Inferentia, Graviton, Nitro) and software (Neuron SDK) that powers the world's most advanced cloud and AI infrastructure. We are now entering a new chapter of innovation for our product portfolio and are seeking a dynamic and seasoned product leader to help define and build the future of our products. Customers today are rapidly evolving and looking for ways to bring gen AI to their organizations and applications. These customers are increasing relying on compute that is built on Amazon’s custom silicon to achieve the best price performance for their rapidly evolving workloads. Within Annapurna Labs, you will work with a team that defines the strategy and roadmap for delivering this performance and new products to customers. You will be responsible for full lifecycle product management of new generations of silicon and compute to create an outsized impact on accelerating several customer workloads including AI/ML, core computing, High Performance Computing, and more. This is a unique opportunity to innovate across all layers of the solution stack (ranging from software services all the way down to the core infrastructure and our custom silicon). You will have strong ownership over product strategy, product definition, feature prioritization, messaging, pricing, adoption, customer interaction, sales enablement, and team development. You will also own greenfield initiatives and lead zero-to-one product strategy and execution. This is a high visibility and high impact role that will interact with all levels of Amazon leadership. The ideal candidate is excited about the incredible opportunity silicon innovation presents in the industry today and is deeply passionate about working with great teams that deliver the highest quality services. You are naturally customer obsessed and thrive in a fast-paced environment that requires strong technical and business judgment and solid communication skills.

Job Responsibility

  • Lead product strategy — Define and execute the product strategy for new silicon and compute offerings, including greenfield initiatives, working backwards from customer needs to identify the right product positioning, product definition, and go-to-market approach
  • Define and gather customer inputs — Engage with prospective customers to validate product-market fit, gather feedback, and make high-quality product and roadmap decisions
  • Drive cross-org collaboration — Work with leaders across Annapurna silicon teams, Neuron, and partner organizations to deliver innovation and ensure a unified, coordinated roadmap
  • Bridge hardware and software — Translate silicon performance capabilities into customer-facing value propositions and product requirements that span the full solution stack
  • Define product requirements and track execution — Establish priorities, performance goals, methods for measurement, and track their execution and success
  • Build the support and enablement structure — Define the end-to-end support model for this new offering, including documentation, SLAs, and escalation paths
  • Communicate with senior leadership — Provide regular updates on strategy, project status, risks, and issues to senior management across the organization

  • Experience delivering large-scale hardware and software products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field

  • Experience engaging with customer executives with a passion for delivering exceptional service

  • Experience influencing senior executives on strategy decisions
