4+ years of experience as an animator in the video game industry, ideally in gameplay-focused roles
Strong portfolio or reel showcasing combat animation in shipped or real-time game projects
High proficiency with 3D animation software (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max)
Deep understanding of animation principles: timing, weight, posing, anticipation — especially as they apply to combat feel and player clarity
