Job Responsibility:

  • Join Our Dynamic Team: As an Animation/Illustrator Intern for Childhood Cancer Society (CCS), you’ll play a pivotal role in bringing Adventure Ted to life, shaping his adventures as he leads groundbreaking initiatives, including the Adventure Ted Coin (ATC)—a cryptocurrency aimed at revolutionizing support for families battling pediatric cancer
  • Craft Captivating Stories: Develop animations for The Adventure Ted Chronicles and other social media content across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Twitter. Your work will excite audiences about our mission while showcasing the power of Adventure Ted Coins to inspire hope and support families
  • Innovate with Crypto-Inspired Content: Create animated memes, short-form videos, and storytelling visuals that align with Adventure Ted’s adventurous, superhero personality. Help us build excitement for the coin launch and its impact on pediatric cancer research and family support
  • Collaborate and Strategize: Participate in Brain Trust Meetings twice weekly over Zoom (Mondays and Thursdays, 8:30-9:30pm EST) to brainstorm fresh ideas for campaigns and animations, including crypto-themed content that resonates with both philanthropic and tech-savvy audiences
  • Stay Updated: Explore our website at Childhood Cancer Society and our social media pages on Facebook and Instagram (@ChildhoodCancerSociety & @AdventureTed.Official) to immerse yourself in our cause and the Adventure Ted brand

Requirements:

  • Experience: 2+ years in animation
  • Proficiency in software such as: 2D: Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Animate, Toon Boom Harmony, Clip Studio Paint, Blender and more
  • If applying for school credit, provide paperwork from school with desired goals and requirements to earn school credit
  • The ability to take our primary character Adventure Ted and make meaningful social media posts and animations
  • Community Focused: Professional animators seeking community service credit are especially welcomed
