Job Description:

The Digital Software Engineer Intmd Analyst role involves developing professional expertise, applying analytical thinking, and ensuring quality and timeliness of service in close collaboration with other teams to deliver impactful outcomes for Citi's technological infrastructure.

Job Responsibility:

Address a variety of responses to problems, questions, or situations by applying established criteria
use the right technology to solve technical challenges required to deliver small scale features and functions
responsible for applications systems analysis and programming activities
accountable for development, design, construction, testing and implementation
write secure, stable, testable and maintainable code
engage in digital applications development, risk technology, Middleware, Mainframe applications, Non Mainframe applications, Analytic Model Development and Application support activities
consult with users, clients and other technology groups on issues and recommend programming solutions
learn the functionality, architecture, dependencies, and runtime properties of the systems
drive clarity into technical implementation by driving system build and performance discussions
competently represent your team’s systems to others both inside and outside Digital
build and maintain integrated project development schedules
negotiate features and associated priority
articulate development and timeline dependencies
improve team development related processes
automate code quality, code performance, unit testing, and build processing in the CI/CD pipeline

Requirements:

Hands on experience in Java
Spring Boot
PLSQL
strong analytical and quantitative skills
data-driven and results-oriented
experience in running high-traffic, distributed, cloud-based services
experience in affecting large culture change
experience leading infrastructure programs
skilled at working with third-party service providers
excellent written and oral communication skills

Nice to have:

Knowledge about ElasticSearch
Angular
batch job processes
