Job Description:

The Digital S/W Engineer Intmd Analyst role at Citi is focused on application development, analysis, and programming. The position requires strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and PLSQL. Responsibilities include application design, development, and delivery, utilizing specialized technology to streamline technical challenges. Coordination with the team, clients, and other technology groups is vital. The position emphasizes continuous process improvement, technical clarity, and adherence to quality standards.

Job Responsibility:

Address a variety of responses to problems, questions, or situations by applying established criteria
Use the right technology to solve technical challenges for delivering small scale features
Applications systems analysis and programming activities
Development, design, construction, testing, and implementation of secure, stable, testable code
Engage in digital app development, Middleware, and other activities for user areas
Consult users and other technology groups on issues
Learn system functionality, architecture, and dependencies
Drive clarity into technical implementation
Build and maintain integrated project schedules
Negotiate features and priorities
Improve team development processes
Seek ways to objectively measure productivity (e.g., SonarQube, CI/CD pipeline)

Requirements:

Hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, PLSQL
Good understanding of digital applications development, Middleware, Mainframe applications, Non Mainframe applications, and Analytic Model Development
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Experience in running high traffic, distributed, cloud-based services
Skilled at working with third-party service providers
4-6 years in an Apps Development role

Nice to have:

Knowledge about ElasticSearch, Angular, and batch job processes
