Job Description:

The Applications Development Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Job Responsibility:

Design and develop reusable Frameworks for Data ingestion, extraction, report submission etc.
Translate high-level & functional requirements, Data Modelling (dimensional, semi structured, transactional use cases) to technical design.
Develop batch & real time data ingestion Pipelines involving wide range of technologies like Messaging middleware, Kafka, SFTP, Spark, Hive etc.
Experience as a Big Data Engineer to develop, optimize, and manage large-scale data processing systems and analytics platforms.
Hands-on Expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, Advanced SQL concepts.
Hands-on experience in Performance tuning, understanding and interpreting AWR reports, Indexing.
Good understanding on DB modelling, ER diagrams, Data warehousing concepts- SCD1 and SCD2 records.
Good analytical abilities in understanding the data requirements and identifying data gaps.
Should be good at shell scripting and job scheduling tool like Autosys.
Should be able to work on tasks independently and co-ordinate with other teams to achieve tasks.
Willingness to learn new technologies and scaleup based on the project requirements.

Requirements:

2-4 years of programming/development experience in Frontend Full Stack Development
Strong knowledge and development experience on Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML, CSS3/SASS, Bootstrap, SQL
Familiarity with DevOps concepts, tools and continuous delivery pipelines – uDeploy, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, GIT, etc.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills and experience working in Agile environments and scrums
