Job Description

Baptist Health is looking for an Anesthesia Technician II to support our Anesthesia team at Baptist Medical Center South. This is a Full-Time Days position.

Job Responsibility

  • Providing preventative maintenance to selected equipment
  • responsible for securing appropriate audio-visual equipment and other necessary equipment for each procedure
  • Assisting in obtaining loaner equipment
  • Properly decontaminating any necessary equipment
  • Assisting surgical team with operation of equipment

Requirements

  • 1-2 years Surgical Services Experience
  • High School Diploma Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
  • Experience working in an Acute Care setting
  • Orthopedics
  • Wound Care Experience
  • Experience with Surgical Patients
  • Experience as Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Experience in Neuro
  • Customer Service Experience
  • Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant - DOH
  • Driver's License - DMV
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA

  • Terminal cleaning of all anesthesia equipment at End of Day and ensure they are ready for use
  • Must be able to follow proper protocols with regards to PPE preparation for the cleaning of Contact Rooms
  • Ensure workrooms are kept in a clean and orderly fashion
  • Responsible for moving supplies to and from Stat Stores as needed(site specific responsibility)
