Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Android Engineer to join the Verification team and help shape how Bolt verifies the identity of its drivers, couriers, and riders across the world. This involves exciting product challenges, such as building seamless identity and document verification flows, evolving our in-house verification SDK, and collaborating closely with product, design, backend, and machine learning teams. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to flows that span Rides, Bolt Drive, Delivery, and Driver Onboarding, and help transform how millions of users prove who they are.

Job Responsibility

  • Designing, developing, A/B testing, and deploying solutions that improve the user journey across verification flows
  • Evolving our Verification SDK
  • Working closely with backend and machine learning engineers to define and implement integrations for document capture, on-device validation, and biometric checks
  • Thoroughly testing solutions to ensure quality and reliability across both standard and edge-case scenarios
  • Building a deep understanding of our products and their impact on business metrics and end users
  • Leading feature development from idea to measurable impact for end users

Requirements

  • Comfortable making data-driven decisions
  • Enjoy taking ownership of initiatives and driving them through to completion
  • Experience releasing high-quality mobile features across multiple Android versions, including experience with testing and automation frameworks
