Job Description:

Job Responsibility:

Design, develop, and maintain Android applications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Troubleshoot and fix bugs to optimise application performance
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Android development
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Minimum 2 years of experience in Android development
Strong proficiency in Java and Kotlin
Experience with Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
Solid understanding of mobile development lifecycle, including designing, coding, testing, and debugging mobile applications
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
Experience with Git or other version control systems
Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines
Knowledge of UI/UX standards and best practices

Nice to have:

Experience with libraries and frameworks such as RxJava, Dagger, or Coroutines
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
Experience with Agile development methodologies
