Wissen Technology is hiring for Android Developer. Williams‑Sonoma, Inc. is seeking an experienced Android Engineer to enhance, maintain, and scale our mobile shopping applications. The ideal candidate is a self‑driven developer who delivers high‑quality features, adheres to engineering best practices, and writes clean, maintainable Kotlin code.

Job Responsibility:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Android shopping applications using Kotlin
  • Own features end‑to‑end—from technical design to development, testing, and deployment
  • Deliver scalable, maintainable code aligned with WSI engineering standards
  • Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, and backend teams to implement business requirements
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural improvements
  • Troubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues, and production incidents
  • Continuously optimize app performance, stability, and user experience

Requirements:

  • Strong hands‑on experience in Android development using Kotlin
  • Solid understanding of the Android SDK, application lifecycle, and UI frameworks
  • Experience enhancing and maintaining large‑scale consumer or retail applications
  • Familiarity with MVVM and Clean Architecture
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs
  • Strong grasp of coding standards, performance optimization, and memory management
  • Proficiency with Git and CI/CD workflows
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership of feature delivery

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation)
  • Exposure to Jetpack Compose
  • Familiarity with analytics, logging, and feature‑flag tools
  • Background in e‑commerce or omnichannel retail
