Job Responsibility

Work as part of a team providing a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness in all areas throughout the home, following appropriate cleaning procedures work in the Laundry and servery areas
Use chemicals and cleaning equipment responsibly and within health and safety guidelines
Clear waste in an appropriate manner
Maintain Health and safety throughout the home for residents, visitors and staff
Keep a high standard of appearance and tidiness throughout the home and to respect each residents’ belongings being mindful of their privacy and dignity in their rooms and to their personal property
Check the condition of domestic equipment and report any malfunctions, hazards or potential hazards to maintenance
Undertake isolation cleaning where required – for residents who need to be protected from infection, or for those who may be infected

Job Responsibility

Undertaking general heating, and hot and cold water system servicing, repairs, and installation work within occupied properties
Ensuring all work is carried out safely, in line with industry and manufacturer standards, in accordance with our client’s contract specifications, and with minimum inconvenience to residents
Install, maintain, and repair pipes, fixtures, and controls associated with hot and cold water distribution systems and heating systems within domestic and non-domestic properties
Isolating and capping radiators/valves when leaking
Replacing/installing radiators and ancillary pipework
Replacing/installing 2- and 3-port control valves and wiring the controls
Replacing/installing immersion heaters and wiring them to the local electrical fused spur
Replacing/installing cylinders, thermal stores, tanks, and ancillary equipment
Replacing/installing control fixtures, pipework, and controls
Repairs to hot and cold water systems
