Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Anaplan Architect to serve as the enterprise design authority for a major digital transformation initiative. In this role, you will act as the lead technical counterpart to a Systems Integrator (SI), ensuring that all delivered solutions maintain architectural integrity and align with long-term enterprise planning objectives. You will be responsible for providing oversight, governance, and design assurance for Anaplan solutions, specifically focusing on complex system integrations. Your goal is to enable sustainable internal ownership of the platform and reduce long-term reliance on external vendors.

Job Responsibility:

  • Serve as the primary authority for all Anaplan models and connected-planning solutions
  • review and approve solution designs, data models, and calculation logic
  • Act as the technical lead to validate that SI-delivered solutions meet functional requirements and adhere to best practices (DISCO, modular design, ALM standards)
  • Lead architecture reviews, design walkthroughs, and model inspections prior to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production release
  • Establish and enforce Anaplan governance and guardrails within the internal Center of Excellence (CoE)
  • define patterns for security models and reusable components
  • Ensure seamless integration between Anaplan and enterprise ERP systems using APIs and specialized connection tools
  • Mentor internal model builders and administrators to build long-term platform sustainability and technical capability

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on Anaplan experience across design, architecture, and governance roles
  • Proven track record of overseeing end-to-end Anaplan implementations delivered by external partners
  • Anaplan Certified Model Builder (Level 2) and Anaplan Certified Solution Architect
  • Strong background in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
  • Advanced multidimensional modeling, calculation design, and performance tuning
  • Deep understanding of data hubs, spoke architectures, and API-based integration patterns
  • Ability to constructively challenge vendors and defend architectural decisions
  • Strong facilitation skills to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical partners
