As an Analytics Product Manager, you’ll lead the strategy and execution of data-driven products and services that transform how Interstates and our clients use information to operate and grow. This is a product-first role: you’ll bring proven product management expertise—driving the entire product lifecycle from concept to launch—while applying a strong understanding of analytics to guide decisions and create customer value. You won’t be building dashboards yourself, but you’ll deeply understand the tools, processes, and insights that data teams deliver. Joining Interstates means joining a team that values innovation, growth, and real impact.
Job Responsibility:
Product Development: Drive the full product lifecycle—concept, requirements, design, testing, and launch—transforming opportunities into successful, market-ready data-driven solutions
Roadmap & Prioritization: Build and maintain a forward-looking product roadmap balancing near-term deliverables with long-term innovation
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with analysts, engineers, and business leaders to gather requirements and translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria
Customer Focus: Make product decisions and recommendations that provide clear value to manufacturing and industrial clients
Process Improvement: Continuously refine internal product-development processes for greater efficiency and scalability
Market & Trend Analysis: Track industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities and risks
Data-Enable Offers: Partner with leaders and teams across Interstates’ portfolio of offers to identify ways to leverage analytics to enhance the solutions we deliver to clients
Performance & Improvement: Analyze product performance metrics and customer feedback to recommend enhancements or pivots
Other Duties as Assigned: Flex and grow with a supportive team, tackling new challenges and learning every day
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A., B.S.) in Business, Engineering, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field—or equivalent experience
5+ years of product management experience with a strong record of developing and launching products or services
Proven ability to translate business requirements into product requirements and actionable roadmaps
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work across technical and non-technical teams
Experience delivering products or services in a growth or technology-driven environment
manufacturing/industrial experience preferred
Nice to have:
Strong understanding of industrial operations and the role analytics plays in enhancing those environments
Familiarity with manufacturing or process industries such as feed, flour, or related operations
Working knowledge of analytics concepts—data modeling, KPIs, and data-driven decision making
Understanding of Business Intelligence platforms (Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire, etc.)
Product Management certification (e.g., Pragmatic Institute) or college coursework/minor emphasizing product management
