Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Analytics Engineering Manager to join our Product Rides team to manage a team of analytics engineers who empower the organisation with scalable, reusable, high-quality data products and solutions to improve the experience of many millions of riders and drivers across the globe. As an Analytics Engineering Manager in the Rides Product team you will be much more than a data expert, you will actively contribute to shaping the future of mobility. You will empower the organisation with scalable, reusable, high-quality data products and solutions that drive impact across Product and beyond. The Rides domain is uniquely challenging because it spans across many parts of the company, from product and operations to finance. Your mission is to move beyond 'hacking together' local trackers and instead build a unified, global 'single source of truth' that empowers hundreds of data users across teams to make data-driven decisions. You will lead a dedicated team of Analytics Engineers, serving as a technical mentor and manager. You will be a strategic partner to the Rides Product domain, ensuring that our core data assets are scalable, high-quality, and deeply understood by the entire organisation. This isn’t just a maintenance role; it’s an opportunity to build a world-class analytics layer from the ground up. You will be a key partner to our Analytics Engineering organisation, helping to shape the vision for our offering. We are looking for a leader who is passionate about the 'Analytics Engineering mindset', treating data as a product, turning raw data into a competitive advantage for Bolt. You will have the autonomy to establish new ways of working, bridge the gap between data producers and consumers, and advocate for technical excellence. Your team’s goal is to provide a robust foundation for data users to focus on insights and data driven decisions, to reduce the maintenance burden on analysts and improve time from idea to insight. Your success will be measured across five key pillars: self-service, speed, selection, cost, and quality. If you are excited by the prospect of managing a growing team in a fast-paced, global environment where your work directly impacts millions of riders and drivers every day, this is the place for you.
