Analytics Engineer III

Chewy is looking for a highly motivated, analytical, and collaborative Senior Analytics Engineer III to join our growing Retail Analytics team. Combining an understanding of analytics, finance, strong practical knowledge of multiple business intelligence tools, and using data to make and drive, this candidate will be responsible for scaling self-serve analytics tools and data products across both internal and external stakeholders. The person in this role will work cross-functionally with the category management team, finance department, and additional analytics teams throughout the organization. With a self-starter mentality, outstanding communication, and the ability to drive projects, you can thrive and make a meaningful impact on the business. This role will focus on building advanced reporting, streamlining and optimizing existing reports, and creating scalable, performant queries to populate various reports. This role requires a candidate with high-level SQL proficiency, deep understanding of Tableau, and the tenacity to push through to complete difficult projects. A deep interest in data, passion for collaboration and communication, and an analytic, probing mind are all necessities.
