Job Description:

The Analytics Engineer’s primary objective is to help ACV deeply understand and effectively serve its customers through data-driven insights. This role plays a critical part in scaling ACV’s SaaS products (MAX and ClearCar) and driving cross-sell opportunities to accelerate digital sales growth. The Analytics Engineer will deliver actionable insights to sales partners and collaborate closely with Marketing and other stakeholders to inform strategy, execution, and performance measurement.

Job Responsibility:

  • Analyze complex datasets by designing, building, and interpreting logical data models to uncover meaningful business insights
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards that provide sales teammates and internal stakeholders with clear visibility into key performance metrics
  • Partner with sales and leadership teams to support the development of data-driven presentations and narratives that inform decision-making
  • Design, execute, and evaluate A/B tests to introduce statistical rigor into product and feature launches
  • Build and monitor control and quality reports to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of SaaS-related data
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product to design, execute, and measure the effectiveness of campaigns, translating results into actionable recommendations
  • Apply strong analytical fundamentals, including asking the right questions, following sound analytical processes, conducting rigorous analysis, and communicating insights clearly and concisely
  • With guidance from leadership, present analyses of specific business areas to stakeholders, address follow-up questions, and translate business needs into well-defined technical requirements
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • BA/BS in Statistics, Business Administration, Operations Research, or similar computationally intensive degree -or- college/university degree in Computer Science or relevant field
  • 3+ years of relevant, professional work experience related to position
  • Strong Professional Experience with SQL
  • Experience analyzing complex queries and transformations on large data sets
  • Experience with data visualization / dashboarding tools like Tableau/Power BI/ Looker
  • Expertise in exploratory data analysis and the basics of data-driven reasoning are a must
