Job Responsibility

  • Lead the analytics team across multiple customer groups, industry verticals and regions
  • Define the capability roadmap and organization structure for scale
  • Translate client objectives and business questions into analytic frameworks and drives roadmap alignment
  • Guide senior client relationships and analytics transformation projects
  • Align department goals to company strategy and vision
  • Manage Director-level leaders and ensure succession planning
  • Lead performance planning, calibration, and promotions
  • Identify and implements process, tooling, or training improvements

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in analytics
  • 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Expertise in building and scaling analytics functions
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL
  • Experience guiding data architecture and modeling decisions
  • Proficiency in Python or R
  • Deep experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
  • Proven success in leading cross-functional partnerships

  • Critical Thinking: Evaluates database and seeks opportunities to utilize it more efficiently. Thinks through data entry processes in order to streamline and keeps up to date on new database developments and how to implement them. Makes decisions regarding data entry in partnership with staff, Chief Development Officer and Business Manager. Attend strategic meetings with Development leadership team and outside consultants to determine strategy for mailings.
  • Manage Staff: Manages a data entry team of 3 that consists of data entry 1, data entry 2/volunteer data entry, receptionist/in-kind data entry (and a seasonal staff during the last three months of the year). Ensures data entry is accurate and completed on time. Assigns tasks and assists with questions. Trains all Mission staff in the use of the database. In-house troubleshooter for database.
