This role will provide a great opportunity to support the delivery of robust technical solutions for investment desks by contributing to the development and maintenance of analytical tools and dashboards.
Job Responsibility:
Working closely with portfolio managers and analysts across Equity, Fixed Income, Credit, Multi-Asset and Private Asset investment teams to help deliver technical solutions and investment analytics
Assisting in building and maintaining Python and SQL codebases for analytical investment tools, dashboards, and data pipelines
Contributing to the development and enhancement of data visualisation and reporting solutions, ensuring clarity for technical and non-technical users
Participating in agile development processes, including backlog management, testing, and defect resolution
Requirements:
Experience working with financial data (e.g. asset prices, accounting, ESG) with a good understanding of financial products and investment management in at least one asset class
Excellent knowledge of Python and SQL for data retrieval, transformation, analysis and communication
Experience building financial dashboards and presenting financial data
Experience with cloud-based data solutions (e.g. Snowflake, Azure, Databricks)
