Analytical chemist

High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) play a pivotal role in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in drug discovery and development, and are extensively used on an analytical and preparative scale for achiral and chiral separations. As part of the Chemical Capabilities, Analytical and Purification (CCAP), the successful candidate will work in the Analytical Chemistry / High-Throughput Purification (AC/HTP) team, where they will participate in LC and/or SFC analysis and purification of newly synthesized small molecules and peptides from different Drug Discovery programs. This provides an opportunity to explore state-of-the-art instrumentation and automated platforms, and to participate in real-life industrial research programs.
