Are you an up-and-coming Analytical Chemist with experience in a quality control environment, ideally within the chemical or food industry? Job Responsibility

  • Performing required testing
  • Supporting CAPA action closure
  • Performing equipment maintenance
  • Release to fill testing
  • QA activities such as line clearances
  • Equipment calibrations
  • Assisting with stock of glassware and consumables
  • Health and safety practices such as fire warden duty, first aider, certified spill response
  • Identifying critical risks in your environment

Requirements

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in chemistry
  • Preferably a minimum 1-year of experience in a GMP environment ideally the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proficiency in analytical testing
  • Able to strictly follow the standard operating procedure
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask and manage your time effectively
  • Proven attention to detail, quality focused and a willingness to learn and improve
  • Commitment to quality, standards, and integrity

  • Formulates a plan of care based on trends of similar patients, including patient education and discharge planning. Collaborates with patients/families to identify realistic desired outcomes
  • Administers prescribed medications and intravenous solutions according to standards of care and hospital protocols
  • Assesses pain level in all patients using "0-10", "Faces", or other approved scale to promote comfort and enable patients to participate in their healing. Provides timely/appropriate assessment/intervention. Identifies comfort function goals with patients
  • Tailors and prioritizes caring practice to individual needs, including cultural/ethical/spiritual needs. Participates in the planning of routine transitional healthcare needs. (i.e. treatment options, patient placement options, end of life options). Adapts standards and guidelines for individual patients
  • Reports significant observed or reported alterations in the patient's condition in a timely manner
  • Adapts planned educational programs and information to individual patients and family by modifying teaching strategies or content. Integrates education during the delivery of patient care
