Job Description:

Monitor and provide routine reporting on the Design-Build (“DB”) Contractor progress and Operations and Maintenance (“O&M”) Contractor; Manage projects in P3 Infrastructure Projects over $500 million; Cost control and budgeting in heavy civil construction projects; Perform routine inspections of construction activities; Review the DB Contractor’s Monthly Progress Report and identify areas with the assistance of the CTO where additional attention from the Purple Line Transit Partner (“PLTP”) Team may be needed; Design/Engineering review of DB Contractor plans and shop drawing submittals, Monthly Progress Reports, and project schedule updates; Ensure that specifications and Technical Provision requirements are satisfied; Attend regular meetings with the DB Contractor and/or O&M Contractor to review progress, resolve issues, and QA/QC performance; Work closely with the Commercial Director to review and prepare correspondence, claims, change orders, and related documentation. It is anticipated this role may lead certain commercial workstreams; Schedule of P3 Infrastructure Projects. Assist the PLTP team in conducting regular review of reports and provide analysis when requested, including financial and lender reports; Assisting the Quality/Construction Teams with review and evaluation of the Quality Program and propose solutions to nonconforming work. Provide input into monthly board reports covering issues or subjects assigned by the CTO, Commercial Director, or CEO; Support the PLTP management team with presentations, data analysis, information, or specific tasks; and Provide support to the finance team as assigned.

Job Responsibility:

  • Perform routine inspections of construction activities

  • Design/Engineering review of DB Contractor plans and shop drawing submittals, Monthly Progress Reports, and project schedule updates

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in engineering or related field
  • Two years of experience as an Associate Project Manager or Project Manager
  • Two years of experience managing projects in P3 Infrastructure Projects over $500 million
  • Two years of experience in cost control and budgeting in heavy civil construction projects
  • Two years of experience reporting on Design-Build (“DB’) Contractor progress
  • Two years of experience performing routine inspections of construction activities
  • Two years of experience in design/engineering review of DB Contractor plans and shop drawing submittals
  • Two years of experience in scheduling of P3 Infrastructure Projects
  • Two years of experience coordinating/negotiating with construction subcontractors and suppliers
  • Two years of experience assisting the Quality/Construction Teams with review and evaluation of the Quality Program and propose solutions to nonconforming work
