Katie Weigel with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is recruiting to fill a Part Time Analyst position for a growing company in the Reno area. This role, which is 20 hours per week, partners closely with Sales Leadership, Sales Operations, Accounting, and Marketing to improve forecasting accuracy, sales effectiveness, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibility:
Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and reports that track sales performance, pipeline health, trends, pricing, product mix and customer trends
Analyze sales performance by salesperson, account, product, channel, region, and customer segment to identify growth opportunities and risks
Deliver recurring and ad hoc insights to sales leadership with clear recommendations and implications
Support the sales forecasting process by validating data, analyzing trends, and identifying gaps or risks
Track sales KPIs and incentive performance, ensuring accurate and timely reporting
Partner with Finance to align forecasts, revenue reporting, and performance metrics
Analyze reporting and processes to drive consistency and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer experience
Partner with Sales Operations to document, standardize, and optimize sales workflows and procedures
Support change management efforts related to new tools, processes, or reporting standards
Work closely with Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Accounting, and Operations leadership to align insights with business objectives
Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives such as pricing, territory planning, customer segmentation, and go-to-market strategies
Act as a trusted analytical advisor to sales leadership
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Analytics, Economics, or a related field, or current progress toward completing one
Approximately 2-3 years of experience in an analytical role, with prior financial analysis experience strongly preferred
Advanced Excel skills with the ability to organize, analyze, and present complex data effectively
Experience creating dashboards and performance reports that support business decision-making
Familiarity with ERP platforms such as NetSuite or Oracle is highly desirable
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain insights clearly to cross-functional teams
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a part-time schedule while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
