Job Responsibility:
Analyze, monitor and control the budgetary envelopes of the Program team
Present analysis and recommend budget strategies to management teams
Manage budget governance and prepare the necessary content (key indicators, variance, risks & opportunities)
Establish budget schedules and guide teams towards defined milestones
Establish performance criteria for certain strategic initiatives/portfolios and monitor their achievement
Help define and maintain a governance calendar for the management team
Contribute to the definition and maintain standardized tools for the definition and budget management of the Program and Engineering teams
Identify and manage risks & opportunities by mitigating them with the functional teams
Guide a team in solving problems and establishing new processes
Contribute to continuous improvement activities on the budget process, define a new work tool and standardize templates
Work in a multi-functional environment in which you interact with all levels of management
Maintain efficiently and rigorously a large volume of financial data
Requirements:
University degree in management, finance, business administration or equivalent
Initiative, results-oriented and desire to make decisions
Strong financial management skills
Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
Organized, autonomous person
Demonstrate informal leadership skills (e.g. influencing without formal authority)
Excellent communication skills (written and spoken)
Can influence at different levels of the organization
Experience using and understanding ERP systems (SAP an asset)
More than five (5) years of relevant experience
Master MS Office, TEAMS
Knowledge in database management
Can work in English and French on a daily basis
Demonstrate good communication skills
