Citadel Source is partnering with a leading FMCG business to support the search for a Procurement & Promotions Analyst to join their growing commercial team. This is a highly analytical and commercially focused role sitting at the heart of procurement, supplier management, and promotional strategy. Working closely with major global brands and internal stakeholders across sales, logistics, buying, and promotions, you’ll play a key role in supporting data-led decision-making and driving commercial performance. The business operates in a fast-moving and evolving market, making this an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining data analysis with commercial thinking and industry insight.

Job Responsibility

  • Supporting purchasing activity and supplier management across major global brands
  • Managing and analysing joint business plans, supplier performance, margins, and commercial income
  • Analysing market trends, promotional activity, and commercial performance data to support procurement decisions
  • Monitoring pricing, profitability, and category performance to identify opportunities and risks
  • Sourcing products on the open market where required
  • Producing data-driven recommendations to support commercial strategy and decision-making
  • Working closely with Sales, Logistics, Buying, and Promotions teams to align business priorities
  • Supporting range reviews, promotions analysis, and supplier negotiations
  • Helping the business respond to evolving market trends and consumer behaviour

Requirements

  • Previous experience within an analytical, commercial, procurement, category, or promotions-focused role
  • Strong Excel skills and experience using Power BI
  • Exposure to large datasets and the ability to identify trends and actionable insights
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to balance data analysis with practical decision-making
  • An interest in FMCG, hospitality, retail, or the drinks industry

Nice to have

  • Experience with Python or other analytical tools
  • Hospitality background (such as bar, venue, or stock management environments)
