Job Responsibility:
Support one or more Global Relationship Bankers on a defined portfolio of clients within Nordics Banking
Collaborate with others across Corporate & Institutional Banking in order to manage the clients’ global relationships
Origination: Identify marketing opportunities, undertake appropriate analysis and preparation of proposals, presentations and pitches for new products and services
Execution: interact with clients and various product teams in order to ensure smooth execution in a timely manner
Client engagement: establish strong relationship with the portfolio of clients
Financial Analysis: Develop an understanding of clients’ financials in order to assess the capital markets needs and the credit strengths / weaknesses
Client Materials: Assist in the preparation of presentations and other materials for clients
Sector knowledge: Keep up to date with the markets and the sector developments to support business development, portfolio management and credit risk assessment
Collaborate with product and country teams
Portfolio management / HSBC Strategy: understand Corporate & Institutional Banking internal return hurdles and identify opportunities to reduce Risk Weighted Assets to enhance relationship returns
Requirements:
A sound understanding of the financial markets
In-depth quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with financial analysis capability
The ability to undertake in depth review of industry, competitors, clients and products and provide a high-quality analysis of credit risk
Experience in developing marketing materials (pitch books) is a plus
Demonstrated capacity to build a network of contacts, both internal and external, in the context of interactions with colleagues and clients
Sound negotiation and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
