Job Responsibility:

  • Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of a weekly market watch covering industry developments, program updates, defense budgets, procurement decisions, competitor activity, and technology trends
  • Monitor global defense aviation market developments, with a focus on ISR, special mission aircraft, and multi-role platforms
  • Track geopolitical developments and highlight potential implications for defense spending and customer demand
  • Support customer analysis, including fleet composition, mission requirements, procurement timelines, and spending patterns
  • Maintain customer profiles, market databases, and analytical models to support market and customer assessments
  • Provide data-driven customer insights to regional sales and business development teams
  • Analyze market demand and growth trends across regions and mission domains relevant to Bombardier Defense (ISR, A&EW, MPA, HoS…)
  • Produce quantitative market forecasts and scenario analyses to support strategic planning and long-range decision-making
  • Monitor competitor positioning and emerging technologies that may impact Bombardier Defense’s market outlook and competitive environment
  • Prepare periodic reports and briefings summarizing market outlook, key assumptions, and insights for leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Collect, structure, and analyze information on competitor platforms, offerings, and market positioning
  • Support the development of competitive summaries, benchmarking analyses, and campaign support materials
  • Monitor emerging technologies, new entrants, and partnership activity within the defense aviation market
  • Work closely with the Market Analysis team to ensure consistency, accuracy, and quality of analytical outputs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Business Development, Product Strategy, Engineering, and Finance
  • Support continuous improvement of market intelligence tools, templates, and processes

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, International Relations, Defense Studies, or a related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in market analysis, strategy, consulting, or aerospace/defense-related roles
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights
