Analyst, IS Business Intelligence

• Perform detailed data validation between legacy production dataflows and new Databricks-based data sources
• Analyze and verify the accuracy of migrated data elements, calculations, and business logic
• Test reporting functionality to ensure outputs align with defined business rules and requirements
• Identify, document, and communicate data inconsistencies, defects, and root causes
• Collaborate closely with IT and data engineering teams to resolve issues and monitor ticket progress
• Provide clear written and verbal updates on validation status, findings, and potential risks
• Manage workload, priorities, and timelines with minimal supervision

• Experience in data validation, quality assurance, or analytical testing within a data engineering, BI, or reporting environment
• Familiarity with data warehouses, ETL/dataflow testing, or Databricks is preferred
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Excel
• ability to compare datasets and identify discrepancies
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to summarize findings for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and a methodical, problem-solving mindset
• Experience in a medical, healthcare, or regulated industry required
