Job Description

The purpose of the Investor Relations Analyst position is to support the delivery of PLS’ Investor Relations strategy by providing high-quality analytical, content and general support to the IR function. The role contributes directly to the Company's engagement with the global investment community, supporting the accurate and timely communication of PLS’ financial performance, strategic positioning and corporate developments to analysts, investors and retail shareholders. This is a Permanent Part-Time position (0.6FTE).

Job Responsibility

  • Utilise online platforms to monitor consensus data and track analysts estimates across key financial metrics
  • Review analyst financial models for accuracy against Company guidance and disclosed information
  • Provide structured internal commentary on analyst reporting including consensus movements and changes in target price
  • Collate market feedback and monitor market developments - identifying notable movements and trends
  • Review PLS share register analysis and report against PLS’s engagement strategy
  • Support the drafting of ASX announcements and investor presentations, ensuring accuracy, consistency with prior disclosure and alignment with the Company's messaging framework
  • Support the preparation of Q&A documents and briefing materials for results calls, investor roadshows and conferences
  • Provide some logistics support for investor relations events including webcasts, site visits and roadshows
  • Manage the Company’s CRM platform (IR Insight) and IR inbox
  • Assist with the management of the IR section of the PLS website, ensuring information is current and accurate

Requirements

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Finance or Accounting related discipline
  • 2–5 years' experience in investor relations, equity research, corporate finance or financial analysis
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with the ability to interrogate and critique sell-side models
  • Mining industry experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong commitment to safety and the environment
  • Familiarity with ASX Listing Rules and continuous disclosure obligations
  • Experience with Visible Alpha, Bloomberg or similar market data platforms
  • Experience coordinating investor events, roadshows, or results programs
  • Experience with managing and maintaining CRM’s
