Circle K Global Fuels is undertaking an ambitious effort to enhance pricing strategies throughout the company by leveraging advanced analytics and data modeling. The team is currently seeking an intern analyst to support the development of analytics suite, build Business Intelligence reports and provide day-to-day support. An ideal candidate would have experience in using both internal and external data to identify opportunities and articulate the data story effectively. You will work closely with our local and Global Data & Analytics teams to create analytics to support our Business Units and business decisions. This is an exciting internship with opportunities to build to future full-time employment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and insights from data analysis
  • Provide pricing insights to Business Units Fuel teams and Global Fuels
  • Support the design and implementation of data models, reporting tools and advanced analytical solutions
  • Work with Data Science and Data Engineering teams to design, test and scale the solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and work with Analytics team to build the reporting solutions
  • Collect, clean, and analyze data from various sources to support business decisions
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategic planning
  • Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Preparation of reports and presentations describing the results of projects/analyses

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree (preferably master’s or an advanced degree) or a recent graduate in Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar
  • Knowledge of data analysis tools and software such as SQL, Databricks, Snowflake or Relational databases
  • Knowledge of the Data Science models and API integration is a plus
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
