Job Description:

As part of this two-year program, you will gain a broad and practical understanding of finance by taking on two different roles each year. In addition to your core finance responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in data analytics, learning to extract insights from financial and operational data using tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, and SQL. You will also gain practical knowledge of SAP by taking part in the implementation of S/4HANA — a valuable opportunity to become familiar with modern enterprise systems and contribute to the digital transformation of the finance function. At the end of the program, you will transition into a permanent role within one of our finance teams — setting the foundation for a long-term career at Bombardier.

Job Responsibility:

  • Participate in data analytics initiatives to enhance audit effectiveness and insight generation
  • Design and implement automated solutions and BI tools to streamline audit processes
  • Independently engage with cross-functional teams to gather data and identify control gaps
  • Drive audit mandates and perform financial control testing with a focus on continuous improvement and risk mitigation
  • Continuously monitor and analyze cash inflows and outflows, with a focus on customer advances
  • Support a team of financial analysts responsible for aircraft sales accounting
  • Prepare key financial reports for senior management on a weekly basis
  • Collaborate with contract managers to forecast customer inflows and identify related risks and opportunities
  • Manage the full financial process of aircraft sales, including profitability analysis and transaction recording
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and deliver detailed financial analyses related to aircraft sales
  • Contribute to the strategic plan, annual budget, and periodic forecasts, while developing new metrics for sales analysis
  • Analyze raw material and work-in-progress inventory, including provisions for obsolete stock
  • Use SAP to analyze data and optimize work-in-progress in alignment with the new assembly line
  • Support month-end closing activities and management control processes

Requirements:

  • You have finished your undergraduate degree
  • You are pursuing the CPA or CFA designation
