Analyst, Energy Efficiency, Regulatory & Planning

• Reporting Operations & Regulatory Support (40%): Operate reporting models to prepare quantitative results for filings in regulatory dockets, quarterly reports to public stakeholders, and internal management review
• Perform quality control checks, reconcile data anomalies, and maintain process documentation, so results are traceable and reproducible
• Maintain and update modeling assumptions, ensuring they remain consistent with the context and requirements of regulatory reports and audiences
• Proactively identify opportunities to streamline reporting operations and processes
• Portfolio Forecasting & Program Support (40%): Support the development of portfolio forecasting methods to inform program planning, scenario analysis, and portfolio risk management
• Perform variance analysis to identify portfolio-level risks and opportunities, and drill down to isolate the key drivers through both analysis and engagement with program managers
• Distill program results into clear narratives and visuals for management and stakeholders
• recommend corrective actions to mitigate budget issues and improve program efficiency
• Data Analysis & Research (20%): Maintain core datasets for historical analysis of program budgets and impacts
• Inform energy efficiency plans through analysis of past participation and emerging offerings

• Strong analytical skills and experience synthesizing complex analysis into clear findings
• Advanced experience with Excel (e.g. PowerQuery, complicated formulas, data models)
• Experience extracting, cleaning, and validating data from CRMs or tracking systems
• Proficiency in data management, including data gathering, version/quality control, and process automation
• Strong attention to detail, deadline management, and organizational skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills, including clearly communicating technical results to non-technical audiences through narratives, visuals, and presentations
• Requires a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, finance, engineering, data science, or a related discipline
• Three (3) plus years of experience in regulatory reporting, performance management, risk management, or related functions in support of a dynamic program/project portfolio

Familiarity with SQL, Power BI, Alteryx, or similar tools is a plus
