Job Description

Join Barclays as an Analyst - CMP EBM Rules role, where to provide financial expertise and support to various departments and business units within the organisation by the gathering, analysis and interpretation of financial data to inform investment decisions, assess financial risks, and support strategic planning.

Job Responsibility

  • Development and implementation of business unit financial strategies, plans and budgets
  • Development of financial models to forecast future performance, assess investment opportunities, and evaluate financial risks for business units
  • Cross functional collaboration to provide financial insights and guidance to business unit stakeholders
  • Identification of opportunities and implementation of financial process improvements
  • Support to business units in identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial risks
  • Analysis and presentation of financial data to provide insights into business performance, identify trends, and support decision-making

Requirements

  • CA Inter / MBA / PG with relevant experience OR Graduate with relevant experience
  • Strong Accounting knowledge – understanding of Financial statements, accounting principles
  • Prior exposure towards supporting Financial Close
  • Strong Excel and Power point skills
  • Working knowledge of automation tools like Alteryx, Powe BI, Power Apps preferred
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

Nice to have

  • Data Analysis – Trend Analysis, ratio analysis
  • Ability to handle large data sets
  • Understanding of Risk and Control framework
